American Veterinary Medical Frontiers (AVMF), is a chartered Massachusetts, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our divisions related to research and other programs depend on contributions and volunteers to achieve their objectives.
With a Board of Trustees, the AVMF operates for scientific, veterinary medical and medical, as well as educational and charitable purposes. The scientific and primary purpose of the AVMF is to foster international cooperation in the exchange of scientific and veterinary medical research and education. Currently we are focusing our efforts on the AVMF Strategic Master Plan, Open Space Preservation and Education Initiatives, and Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) research and programs.
"The time is here for nations and scientists to join together for a common cause of a human health problem, related to a serious equine health problem. The horse has served in so many ways faithfully over the centuries. In the past, battles were won and lost depending upon the strength and determination of the horse that carried man forward. This time, the enemy is a small microscopic virus that is moving, attenuating, attacking, and persisting. The horse will be a part of this global battle to preserve life and health."
We welcome public support for our horses, research and other vital programs. Please make a tax-deductible donation today! All funds and contributions from corporations, individuals and funding foundations will be acknowledged as a tax-exempt contribution. We are very grateful to our friends for their contributions in support of these programs.
